Description
The Reservations and Communications Executive ensures timely responses to guest requests, handles follow-up reports, and supports revenue targets. The role involves developing efficient processes for call handling, inquiries, and sales, while promoting upselling techniques to maximize revenue. Additionally, the executive assists in training the Reservations and Front Office teams to ensure accurate reservations, optimized revenue, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure the reservations team responds to all guest requests within 24 hours. Oversee daily trace and follow-up reports to ensure they are handled according to requirements. Assist the Reservations and Communications Manager and Revenue Manager in setting and achieving revenue targets. Develop an efficient process for call handling, customer inquiries, product descriptions, and closing sales. Apply proper selling and upselling techniques to maximize revenue for the hotel. Support the Reservations and Communications Manager in training the team on reservations operations to ensure high accuracy, maximize revenue opportunities, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Basic knowledge of OPMS and related systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
