Reservation Agent

Description

This role is essential for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth hotel operations. The Reservations Agent will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage and update reservations, including cancellations and amendments. * Process and input booking information from various sources (e.g., email, fax) into the hotel management system. * Verify and review reservations for daily arrivals before preparing the expected arrival list. * Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries related to room reservations and other hotel facilities. * Coordinate with the Front Desk to ensure smooth arrivals, especially for VIP guests. * Maintain organized records by filing all correspondences according to date and month. * Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* GCE 'N' Level or equivalent. * At least 1 year of experience in a reservations, customer service, or related role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required. * Fresh graduates with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality are encouraged to apply. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively interact with guests and colleagues. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems. * A strong customer-centric approach with a focus on providing excellent service. * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. * Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
