Description
This role is essential for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the facility. The Reservation & Switchboard Agent will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and providing general administrative support.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Professionally and promptly handle all incoming calls and emails from guests and clients. * Provide accurate and helpful information regarding room availability, rates, facilities, and services. * Assist guests with reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling requests. * Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their satisfaction. * Manage daily reservations, including room assignments, special requests, and guest check-in/check-out procedures. * Maintain accurate records of all reservations and guest information. * Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments within the facility. * Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. * Develop a thorough understanding of the facility's layout, amenities, and services. * Assist guests with inquiries about facility amenities and services. * Perform general administrative tasks as assigned, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records. * Assist with the coordination of transportation services as needed. * Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with guests and colleagues. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor. * A strong customer-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional service. * Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and build positive relationships. * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. * Proficiency in using computers and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). * Ability to identify and resolve guest issues effectively and efficiently. * A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
