Description
The Reservations Officer is responsible for handling customer inquiries regarding hotel products and services. This role includes receiving reservation requests via email or telephone, entering bookings into the system, processing payments, and sending confirmation details to customers. The officer also assists with amendments or cancellations of reservations as needed. Collaboration with the Front Office and Sales Department is essential to ensure smooth operations. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager to support the team's goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responding to customer inquiries about hotel products and services. Receiving reservation requests via email or phone and entering them into the booking system. Processing payments and sending reservation confirmations to customers. Assisting customers with amendments or cancellations of their reservations. Collaborating closely with the Front Office and Sales Department. Performing any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in accurate and efficient data entry, ensuring precision in recording and managing information. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create reports, manage data, and communicate effectively. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and contribute to team goals while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude. Capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation to complete tasks without constant supervision.
