Responsibilities and Duties

* Operations & Service: Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations. Ensure superior food and beverage service, and respond to customer complaints efficiently. * Staff Management: Organize and supervise shifts. Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity. Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices. * Financial Control: Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste. Create detailed financial reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses. * Brand Promotion: Manage the restaurant’s image and promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and social media. * Menu Development: Assist in planning and implementing new ideas and menu specifications, and take ownership of corporate event menus. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant hygiene and safety legislation. Manage external food hygiene consultants and their reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year of proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or in a similar role. * Proven customer service experience as an operations manager. * Extensive F&B knowledge with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes. * Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and Peach Works. * Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills, with acute financial management skills. * A B.Sc degree in Business Administration, hospitality management, or culinary schooling is a plus.
