Description
The HR Officer will provide key administrative support in staff recruitment and selection, including coordinating interviews, submitting documents to relevant authorities, and preparing offer letters. This role involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records, managing staff movements in the Staff Portal, and preparing HR-related letters such as leave and promotion notices. The HR Officer will also handle staff parking allocation records, provide admin support for the Direct School Admission (DSA) exercise, and manage counter and phone duties. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Principal or designated officers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide administrative support in staff recruitment and selection, including arranging interviews, submitting documents to relevant authorities, and preparing offer letters. Create and manage staff personnel files, ensuring proper storage and up-to-date records. Track the movement of personnel files. Update and maintain staff details in the Staff Portal to ensure accurate and current records. Prepare HR-related letters, such as no-pay leave, maternity leave, and promotion letters. Maintain the staff list in the Staff Portal, reflecting staff movements and new appointments. Draft contract letters for Coaches/Instructors for CCA & CAS programs. Keep a record of carpark lot allocations for staff/vendors, updating new allocations and terminations promptly. Provide administrative support during the annual Direct School Admission (DSA) exercise. Manage counter and phone duties, directing calls and inquiries from parents, students, and the public to the appropriate officers. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or acting officers.
Qualifications and Requirements
Polytechnic Diploma holder, preferably with relevant work experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills Team player with multitasking abilities
