Description
The Human Resource Manager oversees recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews. The role focuses on fostering a positive work environment, implementing employee engagement initiatives, and managing training and development programs. The manager ensures compliance with policies and regulations, streamlines HR processes, and provides expert advice on HR matters. Responsibilities also include managing work permits, government claims, compensation strategy, and conducting market research to ensure competitive pay. The HR Manager will contribute to HR projects as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the company's recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, posting job ads, liaising with recruitment agencies, screening and shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews and selection. Foster positive workplace dynamics to maintain a harmonious work environment. Implement employee engagement initiatives to cultivate a positive workplace culture. Oversee training and development processes, ensuring effective delivery and managing the Staff Learning and Development Program. Lead HR operations with a focus on compliance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline operations, enhancing service delivery and the employee experience. Collaborate with key stakeholders on labor laws, HR policies, and procedures. Provide expert guidance on HR-related matters. Facilitate the resolution of HR issues through effective communication and collaboration. Support the review and enhancement of HR processes and workflows. Contribute to and manage assigned HR projects. Oversee work permit applications and renewals. Manage government claims and grants, ensuring compliance with regulations. Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy, conducting market research to ensure competitiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional qualifications. IHRP professional certification. At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
