Description

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the full recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience. This role includes maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures, while addressing organizational and employee needs with a service excellence mindset. The HR Manager handles all HR matters, including foreign worker permit applications and ensuring compliance with government regulations. They are responsible for employee orientation, administering employee benefits, and managing attendance, claims, allowances, time records, leave, and medical records. The HR Manager will also perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the business.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process from start to finish. * Maintain and update management guidelines by recommending and preparing HR policies and procedures. * Demonstrate a service excellence mindset, with a strong passion for addressing both organizational and employee needs and concerns. * Manage all HR-related matters, including the application and administration of foreign worker permits. * Organize and conduct employee orientation and administer employee benefits to prepare employees for their roles. * Handle employee attendance, claims, monthly allowances, time records, leave, and medical records. * Ensure full compliance with government regulations and legal requirements. * Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent qualification. * A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in human resources or a related discipline. * Experience in an executive or managerial role within the Human Resources function is preferred. * Strong knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple HR functions and manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * A proactive approach, with a passion for improving employee experience and supporting business objectives.
