Description

The Human Resource Director oversees all HR, administrative, and building facility functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, handling complex employee relations issues, managing recruitment, and fostering a positive work environment. The role also involves leading training and development, administering compensation and benefits, overseeing performance management, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing HR leadership across the company. The HR Director will manage employee share schemes and support audits and investigations related to HR matters.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee all HR, administrative, and facility management functions within the organization. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals and legal requirements. Ensure effective communication and consistent enforcement of HR policies across the company. Manage complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment to enhance employee engagement. Participate in recruitment activities, such as job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding. Work closely with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment. Contribute to the creation and delivery of training and development programs to improve employee skills. Identify career growth and succession planning opportunities within the organization. Assist in administering competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring legal compliance. Support the performance management process, including setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and identifying development areas. Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and maintain accurate employee records. Keep up to date with labor laws and employment regulations to ensure HR practices are compliant. Assist with investigations and audits related to HR matters. Provide HR leadership across the company, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and regulatory standards. Manage employee share schemes, including participant onboarding, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in HR roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a Senior HR position. Experience managing HR operations for entities within a listed company, with a deep understanding of corporate governance and compliance. Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing employee share schemes or similar incentive programs. In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Detail-oriented, results-driven, and proactive.
