Description
This role serves as a key member of the Human Resources (HR) Department, providing comprehensive support across all HR functions. The HR Executive plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment for faculty and staff, aligning with the College's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Stay current on labor regulations and HR best practices. * Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively. * Provide support to employees on matters such as work visas, contracts, family relocation, and insurance. * Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including employee files and digital databases. * Coordinate and support the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with all necessary procedures and documentation. * Process and monitor employee claims, such as leave, medical, and insurance, maintaining detailed records. * Plan and coordinate staff activities and programs to enhance employee engagement and well-being, such as social events, wellness initiatives, and professional development opportunities. * Support HR systems and processes, including government funding initiatives, visa applications, statutory regulations, HR calendar management, recruitment drives, College events, performance appraisals, and safety and crisis management. * Maintain and analyze HR data, identify trends, and research potential grants and funding opportunities. * Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Leader.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Singaporean or Singaporean Permanent Resident. * Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years of HR experience preferred, but recent graduates with a strong desire to learn are also encouraged to apply. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing). * Strong teamwork, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. * Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively. * High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. * Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
