Description
This role is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of HR and administrative tasks, from initial hiring and onboarding to ongoing employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of employment law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage employee orientation, training, and development initiatives. * Administer employee benefits programs, encompassing leave management, medical and dental coverage, and insurance. * Manage all aspects of work permits, including applications, renewals, cancellations, appeals, tracking expirations, coordinating medical examinations, and updating relevant government agencies. * Facilitate effective communication between the organization and its employees and manage employee relations. * Maintain accurate, current, and readily accessible records for all employees. * Prepare correspondence and contracts related to employee appointments, resignations, promotions, transfers, and other HR-related matters. * Manage the full scope of HR and administrative functions, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and retention. * Assist in coordinating employee social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being. * Perform general office administration duties, including managing stationery and pantry supplies and maintaining office equipment and facilities. * Process and submit necessary tax forms, national service pay claims, and other government-mandated leave claims promptly. * Provide confidential administrative support for all HR and general office administration functions. * Coordinate the employee performance review cycle. * Perform other ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * A proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and results-driven work ethic. * Adaptability to changing circumstances. * A thorough understanding of applicable employment legislation, labor laws, and statutory regulations. * Three to five years of experience in HR and administration. * A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
