Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our human resources practices and processes. As the key point of contact for employee-related matters, the HR Manager will oversee critical functions such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management. This role is essential to Initia’s success, as our people are our greatest asset. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a happy, productive workplace where employees are empowered to achieve our mission and objectives. We are looking for a professional who can champion corporate values and cultivate a positive, dynamic organizational culture.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Designing and driving the company's HR agenda. * Developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and best practices. * Structuring competitive compensation and benefits packages. * Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluation frameworks for each role. * Identifying and securing suitable government grants for the organization. * Managing HR funds efficiently, including the allocation of government grants. * Advising on workforce and succession planning, as well as supporting business unit restructuring. * Ensuring timely completion of projects assigned by HQ in line with schedules. * Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate shortlisting, and employment contract preparation. * Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. * Planning and implementing learning and development programs for staff. * Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and administration. * Managing staff welfare initiatives and organizing employee engagement activities. * Driving performance management programs, addressing talent gaps, and building internal talent pipelines. * Providing daily HR consulting and tailored solutions to support business units.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar HR management role. * Strong knowledge of HR strategies, policies, and best practices. * Proficiency in developing KPIs and evaluation structures for employee performance. * Experience with government grant applications and funds management. * Solid understanding of Singapore employment laws and compliance requirements. * Expertise in end-to-end payroll management and HR budgeting. * Familiarity with workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructuring. * Knowledge of learning and development frameworks and training program implementation. * Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems. * Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. * Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. * Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail. * Experience with talent management and employee engagement initiatives. * Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. * Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. * Team player who fosters a positive workplace culture and drives employee satisfaction.
