Description
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing payroll processing and administration, ensuring compliance with country regulations and company policies. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll procedures, and improving efficiency. The HR Executive will also be in charge of managing payroll records, handling internal and external audits, and monitoring payroll-related expenses, including salaries, benefits, and taxes. The position requires staying updated on payroll regulations, addressing system issues, and ensuring proper submission of statutory and ad-hoc surveys related to payroll.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Develop, maintain, and update payroll procedures, formulas, and policies for accuracy and efficiency. Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of payroll records. Lead internal and external payroll audits. Monitor and report on payroll-related expenses, including salaries, benefits, and taxes. Collaborate with other teams to ensure accuracy of employee salary data and assist with payroll system issues. Stay updated on payroll regulation changes and best practices, and implement necessary updates. Ensure timely submission of statutory and ad-hoc payroll surveys.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in payroll management, with hands-on experience overseeing payroll processes. In-depth knowledge of employment/labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft 365 applications. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
