Description

The HR Executive is responsible for managing payroll, recruitment, employee documentation, and work pass processing. The role includes handling insurance claims, addressing employee grievances, overseeing training and development, and managing employee exits. The HR Executive ensures compliance with regulations, liaises with authorities, and manages worker accommodation. Additional responsibilities include supporting various HR functions and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee the complete payroll processing and administration on a monthly basis. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews. Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of employee databases and personnel files. Handle HR administrative tasks such as processing work passes, preparing appointment/confirmation letters, and managing insurance claims for hospital, surgical, and work injury compensation. Identify training and development needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultations with department heads. Address employee grievances, manage discipline, and provide counseling to employees and supervisors. Administer company insurance, licenses, and medical insurance claims. Process resignations, calculate leave balances, and prepare acceptance letters and exit clearances. Process dental and medical insurance claims, and liaise with insurance providers on claim-related matters. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain communication with relevant authorities. Participate in governmental agency surveys, such as the MOM HR survey, BCA, etc. Manage worker accommodation matters, including dormitory rental contracts and check-ins/outs. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. At least 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in the construction industry and working with migrant workers is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferably familiar with Info-tech HR Cloud Software. Proactive, able to work independently, and handle tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Discreet and able to handle confidential information with sensitivity. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
