Description

This role provides comprehensive support to human resources operations, with a focus on training administration, performance management, employee onboarding, and various HR administrative tasks. The individual will contribute to maintaining accurate records, coordinating training activities, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the preparation of employee training agreements before the commencement of training or courses, ensuring accurate record-keeping. * Develop and maintain the training calendar, ensuring it is consistently updated. * Maintain monthly updates of employee training records. * Prepare weekly materials for daily team briefings and maintain a monthly briefing schedule. * Administer the performance appraisal process (including goal setting) during mid-year and year-end review cycles. * Manage employee birthday recognition, including preparing and distributing cards and coordinating gift voucher purchases. * Organize and coordinate staff meetings, including preparing agendas, arranging meeting spaces, managing attendance records, and coordinating departmental presentations. * Oversee the onboarding process for new employees. * Support and coordinate the recruitment process. * Coordinate and register employees for various training activities, including external courses, in-house programs, and internal briefings, in accordance with the overall training plan. * Manage training-related administrative forms. * Administer and coordinate confirmation appraisals for new hires and performance appraisals for existing staff. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in designated HR folders on the company network. * Identify opportunities for process improvement using available technology. * Use HR systems efficiently and effectively. * Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of GCE ‘A’ Level certification or a Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification. * At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in the education sector. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Comfort and proficiency with digital tools and technologies. * Confidence in presenting management reports. * Strong data analysis skills and business acumen. * Openness to change and a focus on continuous improvement. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
