Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Payroll Manager to lead and manage our organization's payroll operations. The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions, while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and collaborate effectively with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle for employees and contractors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll operations adhere to labor laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of employee hours, salary adjustments, tax filings, and benefits, while monitoring and resolving discrepancies in payroll data. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance and other benefits, ensuring accurate deductions and seamless enrollment processes. Employee Support: Act as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses to employee questions or concerns. Auditing & Reconciliation: Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain updated employee records. Collaboration: Partner with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll data coordination, benefits administration, and employee record management. System Oversight: Manage payroll software systems, ensuring optimal functionality and overseeing upgrades or improvements when necessary. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, driving efficiency and accuracy through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 5–8 years of demonstrated experience in payroll management. Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation. Proficiency in using payroll software systems. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with employees at all organizational levels. Ability to manage confidential information with utmost discretion.
