Senior Finance Manager

Description

A seasoned Senior Finance Manager with expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is needed to direct the financial planning and analytical activities for major organizational projects. This role involves managing intricate data reviews and delivering strategic financial perspectives that guide decision-making and enhance operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in handling substantial data volumes, thrives in collaborative, interdepartmental settings, and possesses a strong foundation in financial modeling and the financial management of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Direct all FP&A functions for large-scale initiatives, encompassing budget creation, forecasting, and detailed financial examination to support project performance and the achievement of strategic aims. - Manage cash flow, profit and loss statements, cost recovery mechanisms, and the administration of product reserves. - Oversee and analyze significant datasets, constructing insightful financial models and visual dashboards to facilitate data-informed decision-making processes. - Manage the financial dimensions of project planning and execution, including detailed cost analysis, effective resource allocation, and meticulous tracking of project timelines. - Partner effectively with various departments (e.g., Operations, IT, and Business Units) to provide actionable insights and ensure alignment between financial objectives and overall project goals. - Detect and evaluate financial risks and potential opportunities within projects, developing and implementing action plans to mitigate identified risks and capitalize on promising growth prospects. - Prepare and deliver regular financial updates to executive leadership, presenting clear and concise analyses along with actionable recommendations. - Identify and implement enhancements to existing financial processes to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and the timeliness of reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related quantitative discipline. - More than eight years of professional experience in finance, with substantial experience in FP&A, program-level project finance management, and in-depth data analysis. - Exceptional communication and presentation delivery capabilities, including the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences. - Demonstrated proficiency in project financial management, especially in the context of large, complex projects involving multiple departments. - Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. - Proven ability to work effectively both within a team structure and independently, managing tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
