Description
This role is responsible for administering various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel, contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies, partnering with management on organizational change, supporting performance management, handling employee relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing HR information systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel and assist in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures. * Collaborate with local management and functional leaders on organizational change initiatives to support company objectives, assisting with communication strategies and organizational design. * Support the performance management cycle, providing guidance and coaching to managers on annual performance reviews and compensation planning. * Meet with managers to assess staffing needs and ensure job descriptions are current and accurately reflect the position's responsibilities. * Work with employees on various employment-related matters. * Assist with the recruitment and selection of both exempt and non-exempt employees, applying standard practices for identifying and interviewing suitable candidates. * Support the onboarding process for new employees and managers to facilitate their rapid integration and contribution to the organization. * Develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance organizational effectiveness and the employee experience. * Conduct exit interviews as needed. * Address employee relations matters, including ethics investigations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. * Advise management on employee relations issues, with an emphasis on early identification and resolution. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and communicate compliance expectations to management. * Maintain Human Resource Information System records and generate reports. * Ensure accurate and timely employee payroll by assisting with data entry and acting as a liaison with the Payroll team. * Lead and assist with the planning and execution of employee events. * Represent the organization in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner. * Uphold the organization's principles in all personal and professional interactions. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a higher qualification. * Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least five years in a supervisory or management capacity. * Demonstrated record of implementing best practices in relevant HR domains. * Thorough knowledge of employment law, regulations, and HR practices. * Strong leadership and managerial skills to oversee multiple teams. * High proficiency in planning, organizing, and implementing strategies and policies. * Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines. * Analytical, resourceful, results-oriented, innovative, and detail-oriented. * Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion. * Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities. * Ability to engage and influence various stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
