Description
As an HR Executive at an organization registered as an Institution of Public Character (IPC) in Singapore, you will support HR functions and assist in managing HR operations while ensuring compliance with IPC guidelines. This role is perfect for individuals looking to enhance their HR expertise within the charitable sector.
Responsibilities and Duties
HR Operations and Administration Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, attendance tracking, leave administration, and data management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, leave, and training records. Handle HR-related communications, such as employment and confirmation letters. Support payroll and benefits administration processes. HR Policy Implementation and Documentation Help implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational values and IPC guidelines. Communicate HR policies to employees and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Assist in the dissemination and training of HR policies for consistent understanding and compliance. Maintain and update HR policy documents. Recruitment, Onboarding Support, Employee Engagement, and Welfare Support recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews. Conduct reference checks and assist in pre-employment assessments. Help prepare employment contracts, ensuring compliance with employment laws. Assist with onboarding new hires, including orientation sessions and documentation. Support employee engagement initiatives, such as staff events, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms. Administer employee welfare programs, including insurance schemes and wellness initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field, or relevant HR certifications. Familiarity with Institutions of Public Character (IPC) guidelines and regulations issued by the Commissioner of Charities is an advantage. Basic knowledge of Singapore's employment laws and regulations. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Familiarity with HR information systems is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Discreet and able to handle sensitive and confidential information. Proactive, eager to learn, and open to taking on new responsibilities to develop HR skills.
