Responsibilities and Duties

- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and air-conditioning systems. - Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests. - Conduct routine checks on equipment such as elevators, water pumps, HVAC systems, and lighting. - Support room upkeep including minor painting, fixture adjustments, and furniture repair. - Monitor utilities usage and inspect property for potential issues. - Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory. - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repair services. - Ensure compliance with hotel safety procedures and operational standards. - Provide support during emergency breakdowns and urgent repairs.

Qualifications and Requirements

- NITEC or equivalent certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services. - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel or commercial property maintenance. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Able to work independently as well as within a team. - Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on repair tasks. - Basic English proficiency with ability to write simple reports. - Willing to work shifts (excluding overnight), weekends, and public holidays.
