They are seeking an experienced **Assistant Vice President, Engineering** to lead engineering operations, compliance, and innovation across properties. Responsibilities and Duties

- Maintain and update core manuals including Engineering Services, Fire Life Safety, Loss Prevention, Crisis Management, Best Practices, and Audit/Pre-opening documentation. - Ensure hotel compliance with engineering manuals and recommend improvements where necessary. - Oversee implementation of Energy and Maintenance Management Guidelines across all properties. - Conduct audits of mechanical and electrical systems in line with SLIM standards. - Drive adoption of SLIM Engineering initiatives across the portfolio. - Coordinate with HR on structured training programs for engineering succession planning. - Develop and refine M&E Design Standards, briefing materials, and system criteria. - Review and approve M&E concepts, feasibility studies, and support design submissions. - Monitor industry trends and recommend engineering innovations for new developments. - Conduct site inspections, track progress, and address M&E concerns during projects. - Represent Engineering in cross-functional project coordination meetings. - Lead pre-opening support including HEOS setup, staffing, testing & commissioning, fire life safety clearance, and defect rectification. - Ensure seamless execution of soft and grand openings. - Conduct post-opening reviews to ensure compliance and resolve project-related issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the engineering sector, preferably with electrical engineering exposure. - Certified Energy Manager (CEM) qualification required. - Strong ability to drive bulk procurement of materials, tools, and equipment, including finalisation of supply arrangements. - Proven track record in upholding ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, LEED, and Green Building standards. - Prior experience in the corporate hospitality industry is an advantage.
