We are looking for a skilled and hands-on **Building Technician cum Painter** to join our Engineering team at Laguna National Golf & Country Club. The role is responsible for maintaining building systems, executing painting works, and ensuring the resort’s facilities remain safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained. Responsibilities and Duties

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry systems. - Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. - Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and maintenance requests. - Carry out surface preparation, patching, priming, and painting for walls, furniture, and fixtures. - Repair and maintain the resort’s aesthetics by addressing cracks, stains, and surface damages. - Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, ladders, and scaffolding. - Maintain documentation of maintenance work and report recurring issues to the supervisor. - Support minor renovation, installation, and improvement projects. - Ensure safety standards are followed when handling tools, chemicals, paints, and working at heights. - Assist the engineering team with energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Technical certificate or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services preferred. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in building maintenance and painting, ideally in a hotel or resort setting. - Knowledge of building systems, painting techniques, and safe handling of chemicals and equipment. - Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills. - Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
