Description
We are seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the HR Department. The role includes managing telephone calls, emails, and visitor assistance, as well as coordinating meetings. The ideal candidate will also perform various ad-hoc tasks as needed to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. * Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, respond to emails promptly, and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy. * Coordinate and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas and ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place. * Maintain and organize departmental records, documents, and correspondence to support HR functions effectively. * Assist with onboarding new hires, distributing HR-related materials, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. * Perform various ad-hoc duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the department to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience. * Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Independent, detail-oriented, and highly organized. * Capable of adapting to a fast-paced working environment. * Skilled in arranging worker courses (new and renewal). * Familiar with applying for work passes (WP, SP, EP) through WP Online or EP Online platforms.
