Description

The HR Executive provides comprehensive support for all HR functions, including maintaining employment records related to hiring, terminations, transfers, promotions, and employee leaves. Responsibilities include processing documentation for recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and leaves of absence. The role involves conducting new employee orientations, explaining company policies and benefits, and gathering personnel records. Additionally, the HR Executive manages work pass applications, workplace insurance, and WICA documentation, as well as overseeing a foreign migrant workforce. The position also involves advising management on personnel policies and providing training on interviewing, performance appraisals, and counseling techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide support across all HR functions, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain and update employment records related to hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, and leaves. Process, verify, and manage personnel documentation for staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee absences. Schedule and conduct new employee orientations. Communicate company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants. Collect personnel records from various departments or employees. Retrieve employee information from files for authorized individuals or organizations, such as hospitals or ministries. Manage work pass applications, renewals, and related documentation. Oversee workplace insurance and WICA-related documentation and processes. Manage the foreign migrant workforce, with a focus on employees who speak Tamil and Bengali. Collaborate with management to develop or implement personnel policies and procedures. Provide management with information or training on interviewing, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, and documentation of performance issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of a diploma qualification. Relevant certification in Human Resources or at least 3 years of HR experience in the CMP industry. Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Comfortable communicating with migrant workers. Proficiency in Tamil or Bengali is a plus. Skilled in Microsoft Office and tech-savvy. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
