The Restaurant Reservations Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of guest reservations for our fine dining establishment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently coordinating reservations, accommodating guest requests, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities and Duties
* Deliver a luxury service experience by engaging with each guest in a thoughtful, personalized, and genuine way, ensuring they feel like the sole focus of your attention. * Meet or exceed all Marina Bay Sands Standards relevant to the role, including Forbes and Luxury Hotel benchmarks. * Assist both in-house and external guests in planning and securing breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner reservations at any of Marina Bay Sands’ 14 signature restaurants. * Accurately process all reservation requests, including detailed notes on communications with guests (e.g., special requests, food allergies, special occasions). * Support both in-house and external guests with any modifications or cancellations to their dining reservations. * Respond accurately to all restaurant inquiries received via phone, email, or chat. * Provide up-to-date information on all food and beverage outlets, including menu offerings, promotions, and special events. * Manage emergency situations in line with departmental and hotel guidelines. * Aim for first-call resolution by handling inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously, applying logic and using departmental empowerment tools. * Work towards achieving and surpassing individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by management. * Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management. * Conduct confirmation calls for guests arriving the next day
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum qualifications include GCE ‘O’ Level, Nitec, or higher. * Proficient in English; multilingual skills are highly preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong telephone etiquette. * Willingness to work rotational shifts, including public holidays and weekends, based on operational requirements. * Previous experience in hotel reservations, concierge services, front-of-house food and beverage, or customer service is a plus. * Customer-centric attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure. * Maintain composure while addressing complaints and handling emergencies. * Polite and confident demeanor with a high level of patience. * Capable of multitasking and comfortable with system applications and technology. * Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to changes in a dynamic environment. * Mature, detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently. * Job responsibilities may change to meet business and operational needs. * Ability to work in front of a computer and sit for extended periods.
