The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of human resource management, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, training, and compliance with Singapore employment laws. Responsibilities and Duties
* Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring talent to meet organizational needs. * Managing employee relations, resolving workplace issues, and advising on policies such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment. * Coordinating payroll, benefits administration, and disciplinary procedures. * Planning workforce allocation to optimize talent and overseeing HR specialists. * Conducting orientations and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. * Formulating and implementing progressive HR policies to maintain competitiveness. * Ensuring compliance with employment regulations and engaging in HR generalist administration, including staff budget planning.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * At least 5 years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. * In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations. * Strong understanding of HR best practices, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, and policy implementation. * Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * Experience in supervising HR teams and managing cross-functional relationships. * Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR goals with organizational objectives. * Proven ability to drive change and foster a positive workplace culture. * Certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or similar are a plus. * Familiarity with budget planning and workforce analytics. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment. * Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-driven. * Collaborative team player with a passion for developing talent and enhancing employee engagement.
