Description
The HR Executive is responsible for a full spectrum of HR functions, including manpower planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with statutory regulations. Key duties include administering workmen compensation, handling work pass applications, managing payroll processing, and ensuring accurate employee records and database updates. The role also involves coordinating learning and development programs, overseeing onboarding/offboarding processes, and maintaining smooth office administration. Additionally, the HR Executive provides support for HR initiatives, addresses payroll inquiries, and undertakes other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee a comprehensive range of HR duties, providing administrative support and serving as an advisor to the manager in charge. Collaborate with line managers on manpower planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR initiatives, and other HR-related matters. Administer workmen compensation, MOM reporting, and insurance claims. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with current statutory regulations. Identify employees' training and development needs and recommend suitable programs. Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations. Maintain up-to-date employee databases, proper filing systems, and efficient office administration. Process payroll, including monthly salary computations and deductions, with accuracy and timeliness. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Coordinate and track employee learning and development programs. Handle additional tasks such as work permit management and other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, policy planning, and full-spectrum HR functions. Sound knowledge of Singapore labor laws, work pass processes, Employment Act, and related legislation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage decision-makers and employees at all levels. Proficient in payroll processes, CPF, IRAS, and staying updated with government regulations. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle stress effectively. Independent, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
