We are hiring a dedicated Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of one of our working shifts. This role is responsible for managing team members during your assigned hours, guiding them through their tasks, monitoring attendance, and tracking performance against measurable goals. You will also be responsible for compiling shift reports and performance summaries to support team evaluations and operational planning. To thrive in this position, you should bring strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a consistent drive for high standards and productivity. Responsibilities and Duties
*Lead and manage team members during your shift, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. *Set clear instructions and expectations for team members, guiding them on daily duties. *Monitor attendance and punctuality; log and report any irregularities. *Evaluate individual and team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). *Submit shift reports summarizing work completed, issues encountered, and team productivity. *Approve and verify working hours and break times for accuracy and compliance. *Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe working environment. *Encourage excellent customer service practices across all levels of operation. *Address operational issues promptly and coordinate with higher management when needed. *Ensure all company policies and procedures are upheld by the team throughout the shift.
Qualifications and Requirements
*Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. *Proven experience in a supervisory, team lead, or similar role is preferred. *Strong verbal and written communication skills. *Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. *Dependable and honest, with a solid work ethic. *Professional demeanor and presentation. *Computer proficiency and the ability to use basic office software. *Strong time-management and organizational skills. *Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced work environments. *Positive and motivating attitude with a team-focused mindset.
