Marketing manager

Description

This role focuses on promoting events and special promotions, developing marketing materials, managing social media presence, maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and overseeing event execution. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Promote events and special promotions to target audiences. * Develop marketing materials such as advertisements and brochures and execute advertising campaigns to enhance brand recognition. * Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure all social media platforms are current and engaging. * Maintain positive relationships with existing clients. * Conduct market research to identify potential event opportunities and generate interest in hosting events. * Develop innovative ideas to generate new business opportunities. * Present ideas and solutions to effectively meet client needs. * Manage bids for new projects and service existing projects. * Oversee event planning, partnerships, and other marketing activities. * Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, venue selection, vendor coordination, staffing plans, and budgets. * Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes, implementing improvement plans as needed. * Manage and track budgets to ensure adherence. * Handle various ad-hoc tasks and projects to contribute to the organization's growth. * Manage project administration and workflow. * Oversee on-site event execution and delivery. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Strong time management skills, including the ability to organize time effectively, plan ahead, and prioritize tasks and projects to ensure a balanced workload and prompt handling of urgent situations. * Proficient presentation and negotiation skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships. * Diploma or Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience. * Experience in bid management, event planning, and vendor relationship management. * Effective communication, negotiation, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
