Sales Manager (Hotel)

Description

Singapore’s boutique hotel group is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage group enquiries, and build long-term client relationships. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

- Manage group room enquiries (10+ rooms/guests) from request to contracting and payment. - Oversee group blocks including pickup numbers, billing, reservation methods, and VIP guest handling. - Coordinate site inspections, room allocations, and showcase visits with internal departments. - Conduct daily sales calls (minimum 5) and weekly sales activities (minimum 3, including entertainment and site inspections). - Prospect new accounts (minimum 2 per week) and develop strategies to secure long-term business. - Build and manage corporate accounts, negotiating transient rates and monitoring production goals. - Drive revenue growth through sales plans, client engagement, and promotion of hotel offerings. - Maintain accuracy in proposals, bookings, sales documents, and follow-ups. - Gather market intelligence on competitors, customer trends, and new opportunities. - Participate in trade shows, sales blitzes, networking events, and other prospecting activities. - Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration while ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and staff morale. - Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, grooming, punctuality, and integrity. - Perform other duties or leadership responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in hospitality. - Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to build long-term client relationships. - Professional, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.
