Sous Chef

Description

We are on the lookout for an imaginative and skilled individual to join our team, focusing on the creation of innovative recipes that align with current market trends for product application. This role involves a blend of culinary creativity, product development across various cuisines, and engagingly showcasing food through presentations and demonstrations, both for clients and in the digital space. Collaboration with different internal teams will be key in bringing new and enhanced recipes to life. This position also includes conducting evaluations, training sessions, and providing crucial support to clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Devise inventive recipes that reflect the latest trends in the food market for the application of our products. * Apply expertise across diverse culinary styles and in the development of various food products. * Prepare and present food attractively for client engagements and online platforms. * Collaborate closely with colleagues from different departments on the creation and introduction of new or improved recipes. * Organize and conduct food or product tasting sessions, sensory evaluations, and training programs. * Deliver training, address service issues, and provide troubleshooting assistance to clients, either at their location or in a demonstration kitchen. * Create visually appealing food presentations for photography and videography. * Set up, manage, and maintain the demonstration kitchen as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A recognized culinary qualification or a related field of study is preferred, along with at least one year of culinary experience. * Solid technical understanding and strong presentation skills for product demonstrations. * Excellent teamwork and communication abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). * Willingness to travel to various locations when necessary. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment. * Availability for a 5-day work week, plus 2 Saturdays (typically Monday-Friday 9 am - 6:30 pm, Saturday 9 am - 6:30 pm). * Flexibility to undertake other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned. * Please note that the job scope, workdays, and work hours may be subject to adjustments based on work demands. * Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. * Salary will be based on the candidate's level of experience.
