As the Retail Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional, personalized experiences for our esteemed clientele, ensuring smooth boutique operations and unparalleled service excellence. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, you will collaborate closely with the local office to introduce and execute innovative initiatives that keep the boutique vibrant year-round. You will also play a vital role in driving business growth by attracting new clients and fostering lasting relationships with both new and long-term customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and supervise the daily operations and administrative functions of the boutique to ensure smooth and efficient processes. * Strategic Sales Growth: Develop long-term action plans to surpass boutique sales targets and create business strategies that raise brand awareness and enhance profitability. * Drive Sales Performance: Lead and inspire the sales team to meet company goals by fostering high staff performance and promoting a sales-driven culture. * Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align efforts and achieve store performance objectives. * Client Relationship Management: Promote and utilize the CRM system to build and maintain an enriched client database and offer personalized shopping and styling experiences. * Achieve Sales Targets: Maximize profitability by meeting monthly and seasonal sales goals, working collaboratively with the team to achieve success. * Event and Display Management: Plan and oversee in-store promotional events and product displays to attract customers and boost sales. * Budget and Efficiency: Prepare and manage the store's budget, focusing on minimizing expenditure and maximizing operational efficiency. * Customer Data Management: Ensure regular customer maintenance and updates within the company’s database. * Curate Client Experiences: Partner with the corporate office and marketing team to design and execute memorable experiences that engage clients. * Maintain Customer Relationships: Maintain a customer book for key clients and VIPs, ensuring continued engagement and loyalty. * Lead by Example: Set the standard for the team by upholding store operations, client management, and all retail responsibilities. * After-Sales Service: Oversee after-sales service and ensure the retail team is accountable for maintaining high standards of customer service. * Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store’s visual presentation and housekeeping meet company standards. * Stock Management: Collaborate with the headquarters to ensure healthy stock levels, and monitor inventory replenishment and store upkeep. * Sales Analysis and Forecasting: Review sales and revenue reports, making forecasts and implementing changes to improve business performance. * Conduct Stock Takes: Regularly conduct stock takes and manage any necessary financial reports as required by management. * Administrative Support: Execute administrative and ad-hoc tasks, liaising with head office as needed. * Operational Improvements: Continuously evaluate and improve boutique operations to enhance the customer experience and drive profitability. * Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and an outstanding purchasing experience. * Staff Recruitment and Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and provide regular performance appraisals for team members, ensuring they align with the brand’s values. * Sales Reporting: Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management, providing insights during weekly sales meetings to keep the team aligned with targets.
