They are seeking an experienced and strategic Hotel Manager to oversee daily property operations. Acting as the General Manager in their absence, this role leads multiple departments—including Front Office, Guest Services, Executive Lounge, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping, Loss Prevention, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Events Management—to ensure seamless guest experiences and strong business performance. Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and manage property operations to meet guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial goals. - Partner with Executive Committee members and department heads to implement the brand’s service strategy and initiatives. - Monitor departmental budgets, financial reports, and capital expenditures to ensure profitability without compromising service quality. - Analyze operational challenges and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. - Coach and support leaders to effectively manage occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses. - Review and manage wage progress reports, aligning budgets with performance outcomes. - Conduct regular property walkthroughs to engage with employees and guests, identifying opportunities for improvement. - Communicate operational strategies clearly and consistently across the leadership team. - Champion the brand’s vision for product and service delivery, ensuring alignment across departments. - Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing management team members. - Conduct annual performance appraisals and uphold fair, equitable treatment of employees. - Maintain an “open door” culture and address employee feedback constructively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field. - Minimum 6 years of managerial experience in hotel operations, sales, or marketing (8 years with diploma/2-year degree). - Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational KPIs. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to align teams with strategic goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
