Responsibilities and Duties

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. - Implement and enforce operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, stocked, and organized. - Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. - Inform customers about promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs. - Upsell and recommend products to enhance the shopping experience. - Liaise with local and foreign suppliers for product orders and stock replenishment. - Supervise unloading, stocking, and product arrangement. - Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. - Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively. - Ensure smooth coordination among team members for daily operations. - Maintain food safety and hygiene standards per SFA regulations. - Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly. - Monitor cash discrepancies, inventory shrinkage, and operational issues daily.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Proven experience as a retail or store manager (grocery experience preferred) - 6 years of relevant experience in retail or management - Strong leadership and team management skills - Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office - Fluent in English and Tamil as need to liaise with Tamil speaking counterparts - Able to work weekends and public holidays
