General Manager (Retail)

The role oversees P&L performance, team management, and operational excellence, aligning local strategies with the global brand vision to expand market share and strengthen the organisation’s presence in Singapore. Responsibilities and Duties

- Lead end-to-end retail operations for Singapore including store management, inventory, visual merchandising, and customer service. - Own full P&L accountability and drive sales targets, profitability, and KPIs such as foot traffic and conversion rate. - Build, train, and develop a high-performing retail team with strong brand alignment. - Develop and execute local retail strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety standards, and global corporate policies. - Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ, supply chain, and marketing teams for product launches and campaigns. - Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to senior leadership when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. - 8 to 10 years of retail management experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. - Proven track record in sales growth, profitability improvement, and multi-store management. - Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L analysis and budget control. - Excellent leadership and people management skills in a fast-paced environment. - In-depth understanding of Singapore retail landscape and consumer trends. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
