Kitchen Crew (Internship)

Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team and embark on a culinary learning journey. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and contribute to creating delicious meals.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Become familiar with and adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols. * Gain proficiency in using mobile ordering systems to process customer orders and communicate with the kitchen display. * Prepare seasonal and promotional dishes according to provided recipes, mastering culinary techniques. * Learn and participate in the restaurant's inventory management procedures. * Ensure that all ingredients are rotated using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain freshness. * Inspect completed dishes for quality and presentation, learning to plate them according to the chef's specifications. * Provide support to other kitchen stations as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment. * Receive and verify stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Availability to work weekends and public holidays. * A proactive and diligent work ethic, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
