Assist in managing kitchen operations with a focus on Chinese cuisine, ensuring high standards in food preparation, timely service, sanitation, and teamwork while supporting the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences across luxury boutique hotels under the Marriott International brand. Responsibilities and Duties

- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies - Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces) - Cook menu items in coordination with the kitchen team - Follow instructions from the Executive Chef or senior sous chefs - Clean stations and manage leftover food properly - Maintain proper stock inventory and storage practices - Ensure dishes are served simultaneously, at high quality, and on time - Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and workplace safety standards - Uphold a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customers

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of experience in culinary operations, specializing in Chinese cuisine - Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations - Proven ability to support menu execution and kitchen organization - Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and sanitation regulations - Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
