Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and maximizing guest satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will lead and develop our team, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the overall profitability and positive image of our establishment.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate the day-to-day operations of both the front and back of house areas. * Deliver outstanding service experiences and strive to maximize customer satisfaction. * Respond to customer feedback and complaints in an efficient and professional manner. * Lead and train team members to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and productivity. * Regularly assess product quality and explore opportunities with new suppliers. * Organize and supervise staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage. * Manage the restaurant's profit and loss statement to optimize profitability, monitor and control operational costs, cost of goods, labor, and other controllable expenses. * Manage and oversee all storage and supplies to ensure seamless restaurant operations. * Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity. * Estimate future needs for supplies, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. * Uphold the restaurant's positive image and proactively suggest ways to enhance it. * Generate detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and expenses. * Promote the restaurant within the local community through positive word-of-mouth and engaging events. * Recommend strategies to broaden customer reach (e.g., discounts and social media engagement). * Train new and existing employees on best practices in customer service. * Implement and maintain policies and protocols to ensure the smooth future operation of the restaurant. * Monitor inventory levels to ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize waste. * Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times. * Ensure adherence to all Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas. * Ensure the restaurant meets all licensing requirements (e.g., liquor licenses) and promptly address any necessary repairs. * Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the Food and Beverage industry. * Strong supervisory skills, including accountability, organization, and planning abilities. * Proven ability to control costs and utilize resources efficiently and productively. * Demonstrated ability to effectively train, manage, motivate, and inspire a team. * Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence others. Must be able to read and understand basic Chinese (due to the restaurant environment). * Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging work environment. * Willingness and ability to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays. * Customer-oriented with a strong service focus, responsible, and possessing a positive working attitude.
