Description

This multifaceted role combines human resources management, office administration, and sales support functions. The individual will be responsible for managing payroll, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining personnel records, overseeing office operations, supporting sales activities, and promoting workplace safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the complete payroll cycle for approximately 50 employees, including the timely and accurate processing of salaries, statutory payments (e.g., taxes), and other compensation components, while adhering to local employment regulations. * Maintain accurate and organized personnel records using an effective filing and retrieval system, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. * Oversee daily office operations, liaising with external vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure efficient and effective administrative functions. * Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures aligned with recognized safety standards to promote a proactive safety culture and maintain a secure and compliant work environment. * Prepare regular HR reports, analyzing data on employee turnover, absenteeism, and other key metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. * Support the Sales team by preparing detailed sales and service quotations for clients. * Provide both pre-sales and after-sales support, collaborating closely with the Sales, Service, and international teams to address customer needs and inquiries. * Process sales orders efficiently to facilitate smooth interdepartmental operations. * Manage work permit/visa applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees, ensuring adherence to all relevant government regulations. * Handle various administrative tasks, including leave management and attendance tracking. * Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma from a polytechnic in Singapore or a Bachelor's degree in Administration Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution. * Proficient in both English and Mandarin. * Minimum of five to seven years of HR experience, with at least two years in a managerial or leadership role. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established work procedures. * At least two years of work experience in the manufacturing sector. * Comfortable using HR management software and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word). * Positive and professional demeanor, high integrity, responsible, responsive, and capable of working effectively under pressure. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. * Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is considered an asset. * Experience with work permit/visa applications, foreign worker regulations, and office administration is preferred. * Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
