Description

As a Management Trainee - Service Candidate at Gatten Sushi Singapore's inaugural outlet, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests while embodying the brand's signature energetic hospitality. You will be groomed to lead the front-of-house team as the business grows. We value your drive to grow over the length of your experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

・Welcome and guide guests, take orders, serve dishes, and handle payments ・Serve as the bridge between the sushi counter (itamae) and guests ・Prepare and serve drinks, desserts, and side items ・Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and table settings ・Assist with inventory checks and ordering ・Support onboarding and OJT for new team members ・Coordinate with Japanese management and cross-functional teams ・Collect guest feedback and contribute ideas for service improvement ・Ad hoc duties

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential: ・Strong hospitality mindset — able to deliver warm, attentive service with a smile ・Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across diverse teams ・Ambitious to grow into a leadership role over the mid-to-long term Preferred: ・Experience in F&B or hospitality industry ・Prior team leader or trainer experience ・Interest in Japanese food and sushi culture ・Familiarity with POS or inventory management systems
