Responsibilities and Duties

* Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues. * Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical equipment (cleaning, lubrication). * Inspect tools, machines, and equipment visually to identify issues. * Carry and use equipment (tools, radio) effectively; identify and operate shut-off valves. * Maintain inventory and requisition parts/supplies as needed. * Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts. * Apply knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and kitchen equipment. * Perform surface prep, painting, drywall/wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement. * Troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items. * Program TVs, handle minor IT-related tasks, and manage inventory duties. * Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures before maintenance. * Conduct landscaping and sprinkler system repairs. * Use basic computer skills to input air handler schedules and adjust temperatures.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or hospitality engineering. * Basic knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. * Ability to handle physical tasks, including carrying equipment and tools. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to safety. * Team player with effective communication skills. * Basic computer literacy for maintenance systems.
