Description
We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join a luxury boutique hotel group operating multiple restaurants and bars under Marriott International. The role involves supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, and maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252
Responsibilities and Duties
* Set up and stock kitchen stations with required supplies * Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, and sauces for service * Cook and present menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team * Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef during service * Maintain cleanliness of station and manage leftover food properly * Ensure accurate stock management and storage procedures * Deliver food in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation standards * Comply with nutrition, food safety, and sanitation regulations * Work positively and professionally with colleagues and customers
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 8 years of culinary experience, preferably in Western cuisine * Proven ability to work in high-paced kitchens with attention to detail * Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills * Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices * Professional, motivated, and adaptable in a luxury hospitality environment
