Description
This versatile role plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of the hotel's human resources function. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, and staff welfare.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage the recruitment process to find qualified candidates who match the hotel's requirements. * Conduct market research to stay informed about labor market trends and support strategic workforce planning. * Oversee recruitment activities to ensure compliance with local labor laws. * Monitor recruitment metrics and provide reports to management. * Ensure that compensation packages for new hires and promotions are competitive and aligned with industry standards. * Conduct regular salary and benefits surveys to maintain an updated database on compensation trends. * Manage the annual performance appraisal process. * Oversee and administer employee benefits programs. * Track and report on manpower and labor costs. * Assist in preparing the HR budget. * Provide guidance and support to staff on various HR matters, including recruitment, training, compensation, and benefits. * Advise managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws. * Assist in developing and updating HR policies and practices. * Foster open communication between the hotel and its employees. * Address employee concerns and help resolve disputes. * Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. * Manage training budgets and track training activities. * Maintain training records and ensure they are up-to-date. * Promote a positive and healthy work environment for employees. * Oversee the maintenance of staff facilities and amenities. * Manage employee welfare programs, including sports and recreational activities. * Address employee concerns related to health and well-being. * Collaborate with department heads to establish performance goals and conduct performance reviews to measure employee performance and identify areas for development. * Partner with senior management to identify high-potential employees and develop career paths to support the hotel's growth. * Create programs to facilitate smooth transitions for employees entering or exiting their positions.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Diploma or higher qualification in a related field, such as Human Resources Management. * At least 3 years of experience in a human resources role. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
