Kitchen Assistant

Join a newly established fine dining Chinese restaurant, working alongside an award-winning Chef, to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Food Preparation and Ingredient Handling: - Assist in preparing ingredients, including washing, cutting, and organizing. - Help with receiving goods, organizing stock, and implementing first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory practices. - Properly store food supplies. - Kitchen Maintenance and Organization: - Ensure a clean and organized kitchen by adhering to sanitation and safety standards. - Maintain kitchen equipment and tools in good working order. - Assist in cleaning workstations according to a set schedule. - Culinary Support: - Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as required. - Perform any other duties as assigned.
