Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities and Duties

*Handle general back-of-house duties to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. *Keep kitchen tools, equipment, and storage areas in top condition. *Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with food safety protocols. *Assist chefs with basic food prep such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients. *Refill and stock supplies as needed during kitchen operations. *Carry out additional support tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred. *Certification in Basic Food Hygiene is mandatory. *Able to commit to a 6-day work week. *Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. *Salary is competitive and will reflect your experience level.
