Kitchen Crew (Internship)

Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You'll be involved in all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene. We'll provide training and opportunities to develop your culinary skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Become proficient in the restaurant's food safety and hygiene procedures. * Learn how customer orders are processed from mobile devices to the kitchen display system. * Prepare seasonal and promotional dishes accurately, following provided recipes. * Understand and participate in the restaurant's inventory management processes. * Ensure all stocks and ingredients are used following the FIFO method. * Inspect finished dishes for quality and learn to plate them according to the chef's specifications. * Assist in other kitchen stations as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service. * Clean dishes and kitchen equipment. * Receive stock deliveries and verify their quantity and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Ability to work weekends and public holidays. * Self-motivated and hardworking with a positive attitude, demonstrating a strong desire to learn and contribute.
