Description

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Welcome and register walk-in customers using our case management system. * Oversee queue flow using a computerized system, issue queue tickets, and manage queues efficiently. * Respond to phone and email inquiries, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. * Handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. * Complete necessary checklists before customer interviews with Officers. * Maintain a welcoming presence at the front counter. * Conduct daily operational checks and replenish informational materials at the service center. * Collect, verify, and manage documents received from customers, ensuring proper filing and organization. * Provide administrative assistance such as data entry, filing, processing letters, and setting up videoconferencing equipment for appointments. * Perform manual tracking of daily walk-ins in case of system failure.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification. * 1-2 years of experience in customer service or front desk roles, particularly within the government or social service sectors, is preferred. * Strong communication skills in English and the ability to communicate in a second language and/or dialects are a plus, as the role requires interaction with a diverse clientele. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively address customer inquiries and manage complex situations. * Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * A friendly and patient demeanor with the ability to handle high volumes of customer interactions. * Proficiency in using computer systems and common office software. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
