Assistant Outlet Manager

A dynamic and customer-focused individual is needed to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of outlet operations. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Promote restaurant business and actively expand customer database contacts. * Ensure the restaurant's ethos aligns with established company standards. * Ensure and promote adherence to all local liquor, health, and sanitation regulations. * Manage and direct bar employees during shifts and events. * Enforce uniform and grooming standards to the highest level. * Ensure consistent and effective communication with staff. * Hold staff accountable for delivering an engaging and dynamic guest experience. * Instruct staff in ongoing training to maintain service standards. * Interview potential employees and provide input on talent selection. * Assess employee performance and provide regular feedback. * Address and implement disciplinary actions when necessary. * Monitor departmental performance against restaurant budgets. * Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels to align with budgeted cost of sales. * Identify and create revenue-generating events for the property. * Coordinate menu sponsorship deals and product placement. * Consistently monitor service and product quality. * Collaborate on departmental staff scheduling needs. * Ensure that staff receives consistent and proper communication (verbal, email, memos etc).

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food and beverage industry. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Knowledge of local liquor, health, and sanitation regulations. * Ability to manage inventory and control costs. * Experience in event planning and execution. * Ability to train and motivate staff. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * A proactive and problem-solving attitude. * Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
