Finance Executive

Description

This role is responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, contributing to financial reporting and analysis, managing financial transactions, and collaborating with other departments to improve operational efficiency. The individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage all aspects of accounting operations to facilitate the completion of full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and other related functions. * Request and monitor payments from various branches, consolidating and reporting on payment status. * Review contracts and agreements, and follow up with relevant parties to ensure compliance and timely execution. * Generate integrated reports within the Finance Operations team. * Support financial planning and cash flow forecasting processes. * Ensure that all financial transactions adhere to established financial policies and procedures. * Address any ad-hoc duties or operational matters requiring financial expertise. * Collaborate with the IT team to enhance the logistics monitoring system. * Test system updates related to indexing and provide feedback to the IT team.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or a related field. * A minimum of two to three years of experience in accounting. * A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and possess strong communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and organize workloads for optimal efficiency. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel. * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plus. * Ability to start work immediately is preferred.
