Hotel Duty Manager

Description

The Hotel Duty Manager ensures smooth hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences by overseeing room and facility maintenance, leading the Front Office team, and collaborating with Housekeeping and Security. The role involves staying updated on industry trends, improving operational effectiveness, and maximizing room utilization to boost revenue.

Responsibilities and Duties

Overseeing hotel operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Ensuring a comfortable guest experience by maintaining guest rooms, public areas, lobby, and facilities. Leading the Front Office department to foster a high-performance culture. Collaborating with Housekeeping to provide clean and comfortable accommodations for guests. Working with Security to maintain efficient property surveillance and proper incident reporting/follow-up. Staying informed on industry trends and evolving guest expectations related to accommodations and services. Identifying opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness. Maximizing room utilization to drive revenue growth for the hotel.

Qualifications and Requirements

O-Levels or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel operations and management. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills, a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and initiative. Proficient in Opera System. Capable of leading a team and driving results.
